About the Proton apps on your phone

Proton is an independent Swiss privacy company. Silent Signal pre-installs and configures their apps - but a Proton account and any paid subscription is entirely separate from Silent Signal. We don't sell Proton plans and we don't make money from them.

Free A free Proton account is enough to get real value from every app on your phone. VPN and Authenticator are fully featured at no cost. Mail, Drive, Pass and Calendar (Advanced & Elite) all work on the free tier - you get 1GB of email storage, 5GB of Drive storage, 1 calendar, and unlimited passwords.
Paid Upgrading through Proton unlocks more - faster VPN servers across 140+ countries, 15GB+ email storage, up to 500GB Drive, custom email domains, and full 2FA across Pass. Worth it if you plan to use the suite heavily.
